A Living Bridge Between Worlds in the Amazon
INSamaúma was born from a commitment to relationship — with the Earth, with Indigenous peoples, and with the deeper intelligence that lives within us all.
It is a space where science and ancestral knowledge meet, where transformation unfolds not through spectacle or escape, but through presence, responsibility, and care.
INSamaúma is not a travel company. It is a living container — a bridge between worlds. Through intimate, Indigenous-led Rainforest immersions, we invite people to experience the Amazon not as a destination, but as a living teacher. Each journey is designed to support remembrance: of our place within nature, of our capacity to listen, and of our responsibility to act with integrity.
INSamaúma exists for those ready to pause, reconnect, and engage with the forest — and with themselves — in a way that is honest, grounded, and regenerative.
The Founder

In the Amazon, people often ask, “What is your river?”
I was baptized in the waters of the Araguaia River, grew up along its banks, and later found my heart tethered to the Xingu during my years as a lawyer and environmental activist. In 2012, I met the Tapajós River — and my life took a decisive turn.
After years working within large institutions, I experienced a moment of clarity. In a dream, the Samaúma tree — under which I once played as a child — appeared before me. In that moment, I understood that while I believed I was serving the Earth, I was often helping build visions still shaped by colonial frameworks and external agendas.
From that awakening, INSamaúma was born — as a commitment to work differently. Today, I guide Rainforest journeys grounded in long-term relationship with Indigenous communities, ethical collaboration, and deep respect for the forest as a living system.
I am a PhD in Geography, an Amazon researcher, and an experiential curator with over 16 years of experience walking alongside Indigenous peoples. My work bridges ancestral knowledge and contemporary life, ceremony and integration, vision and responsibility.
INSamaúma is my home — and my greatest joy is welcoming others beneath its branches with care and discernment.
